Created in collaboration with Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake, the RM Richard Mille “RM 59-01 Ultimate Track” is an innovative timepiece. The watch is made entirely of carbon fiber, and its asymmetrical design contributes to its lightweight and impact-resistant characteristics. Its roughly 51 mm long, 42 mm wide, and 15 mm thick case fits the wrist perfectly and lowers friction when doing intense exercises like running. Every piece is distinct and has a different texture due to the meticulous milling of the quartz case and carbon fiber. To protect the crown when exercising, the watch has an integrated carbon fiber crown protector. The dial shows a large arrangement of three hands when it is fully opened. There are two curved bridges that split the dial, exposing the movement structure, winding gear train, and two barrels. The movement of the watch has been extensively skeletonized, which adds to its technical appeal.
